The overall aim of the programme is to provide students with an analytical and practical sense of communications and journalism. On a practical level, students will produce digital portfolios, practice journalistic writing skills across a number of platforms including online broadcast.
Upon completing a certificate program in broadcast journalism, graduates may go on to pursue a bachelor’s degree in journalism. Others may pursue degrees in related fields or fields such as English, political science, or history.
