DIPLOMA IN CYBERSECURITY AND DIGITAL FORENSICS

The Diploma in Cybersecurity and Digital Forensics is a two-year diploma designed to build practical, job-ready competence in protecting information systems and investigating digital incidents — skills that are now essential across almost every sector of Ghana's economy. As mobile money, online banking, e-government platforms and digital business tools become part of daily life in Ghana, the country's exposure to cybercrime, fraud and data breaches has grown alongside them, and Ghana's Cyber Security Authority (CSA) has been established precisely to coordinate the national response to this risk.
Students learn to think like both defenders and investigators: how attackers target networks and devices, how organisations build layered defences, how incidents are detected and contained, and how digital evidence is properly identified, preserved and analysed when something goes wrong. The programme balances foundational computing and networking knowledge with focused cybersecurity and digital-forensics practice, so that graduates leave able to support a real security function — not just describe one in theory. Skills are taught with Ghanaian workplace scenarios in mind: securing a bank branch's customer data, responding to a phishing incident at a Ghanaian SME, or supporting a digital-forensics case for a Ghanaian employer or law-enforcement partner.
